All in her head

Please, doctor, something is not right.
It is hard to describe, but I am not the same.
Something is different and I am not sure what.
Doctor thinking - it is probably all in her head.

We will do blood tests and urine ones too.
Maybe a scan or two will help figure it out.
Come back and see me when the results are in.
Doctor thinking - it is probably all in her head.

I am so tired all the time and can’t concentrate.
I seem to forget nearly everything all day long,
And my arms and legs don’t work properly.
Doctor thinking - it is probably all in her head.

The tests are back and I hope they show something.
This one is normal, so is that and that one is too.
I can’t seem to find anything wrong with you.
Doctor thinking - it is probably all in her head.

Whatever it is it’s getting much, much worse.
I can no longer walk without persistence and aids.
First a walking frame, then a wheel chair.
Doctor thinking - it is probably all in her head.

More tests and specialists to prod and poke me
Then finally an answer – bleeding on the brain.
No cure for damage done but hope for the future.
Ironically, yet not as thought, it was all in my head!
