The Bible is really a book of books. There are 66 books in the Bible. These books were written by over 40 different people. These included shepherds, kings, leaders of Israel, fishermen, poets, prophets of God, and a lawyer. The first book was written by Moses in approx. 1450 B.C., the last book was written by John in approx. 100 A.D., a span of about 1,500 years. Yet if you read this whole book from cover to cover you will not find one contradiction if read in context.

Every prophecy that is made in the Bible has happened just the way it said it would, and at the exact time. These include:-

This is by no means a complete list, but a sample only.

Some people say that the Bible is a Jewish book written by Jews with a bias towards them. Yet there were no Jews until after the dividing of the kingdom of Israel, which was after the rein of King David. In many places we read of God blessing Israel. But in every case you will find that God also said that if they would not obey Him and His commands He would bring curses upon them. God sent prophet after prophet to warn and instruct them, but they would not listen. Worse than this, they persecuted the prophets, killing them in the most horrible ways. Eventually God sent His only begotten Son, but they also rejected and killed Him. The Israelites turned from the worship of the true God so many times that eventually He turned His back on them and rejected them.

God also will pronounce blessings on all who read His Word, the Bible, and obey His commands written in it. "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14.

BUT He also warns all not to add or take anything away from His words. "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Revelation 22:18, 19.

For "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16, 17. "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:20, 21.

"Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me,
O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.

Thy word is true from the beginning:

and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever."
Psalm 119:159, 160.
