The Seven Last Plagues

All Bible texts are from the King James Version

"And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous,
seven angels having the seven last plagues;
for in them is filled up the wrath of God."
Revelation 15:1

Revelation 16: 1 - 21 :-
"And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels,
Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast,
and upon them which worshipped his image.

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea;
and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters;
and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters say,
Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And I heard another out of the altar say,
Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun;
and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God,
which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast;
and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores,
and repented not of their deeds.

And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates;
and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon,
and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,
which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world,
to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments,
lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air;
and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne,
saying, It is done.

And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings;
and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth,
so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell:
and great Babylon came in remembrance before God,
to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent:
and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail;
for the plague thereof was exceeding great."

The door of mercy was closed and probation ended for the people who lived just before the flood of Noah's day, when the door to the ark was shut. This is a type for the events of the last days. Just before Jesus comes back to this world the door of mercy closes and probation ends.

Luke 17:26 - 27 "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all."

Daniel 12:1 "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book."

Revelation 22:11 - 15 "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie."

When Michael or Jesus Christ completes His High Priest duties, He stands up leaving all human beings before a Holy and just God without a Mediator. Those that are just, righteous and holy remain so, and those who are filthy will remain so. This is when the seven last plagues will begin.
  1. First Plague. Revelation 16:2. A sore that is an outward sign of those who have the mark of the beast.

  2. Second Plague. Revelation 16:3. The sea becomes as the blood of a dead man - black.

  3. Third Plague. Revelation 16:4 - 7. The rivers and fountains of waters becomes as the blood of a dead man - black.

  4. Fourth Plague. Revelation 16:8, 9. The sun scorches men with fire.

  5. Fifth Plague. Revelation 16:10, 11. Darkness in the kingdom of the Beast.

  6. Sixth Plague. Revelation 16:12 - 16. Preparations for the battle of Armageddon.

  7. Seventh Plague. Revelation 16:17 - 21. Great hail, every stone weighing about 1 talent.

Very few of the wicked will survive the plagues, and those who do will call for the rocks and mountains to fall on then when Jesus comes (Revelation 6:14 - 16), but God has promised His people protection during this time.

Psalms 91:1 - 10:-
"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling."
